OurCarbon in its raw granulate form is a dense carbon and mineral material. This input can be used in polymers to achieve a unique speckled effect, in structural applications like concrete as an aggregate replacement, or as a lower surface area adsorbent for stormwater filtration and more.

OurCarbon is a carbon negative aggregate replacement that can be formulated into structural concrete to reduce GWP by storing carbon in the concrete itself. This new solution for building owners and concrete producers has been tested and proven in the field and is scaling across the US.

OurCarbon is made of a biogenic carbon that has been transformed and fixed in tight bonds. This carbon is effectively removed’ from the atmospheric cycle. Because this carbon can’t break down into CO2 for centuries, the material is carbon negative.

We don’t carbon credit, instead we certify the carbon negativity of the material right into the EPD. Every pound of OurCarbon that goes into concrete reduces the concrete’s overall GWP by 1.02 lbs.

With 10+ pours demonstrated in structural concrete, we’ve dosed OurCarbon in the place of sand to the tune of 100-300 lbs/CY, reducing the overall GWP by over 100-300 lbs/CY.
